More Trouble For Liverpool?

The Saudi Pro League has made a significant impact in the football world, causing impact even for esteemed clubs like Liverpool. Key players such as Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, and Roberto Firmino have made their way to the Saudi Pro League, leading to a notable impact on Liverpool's roster size, which currently stands as the smallest in the Premier League. Liverpool's first-team lineup has undergone a reduction of 8 players while only introducing 3 new players (Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo. Notably), Al-Ittihad pursued the signing of Salah earlier in the transfer window.

Throughout the summer, Salah has remained a top priority for Al-Ittihad, demonstrating their enduring interest despite claims from Salah's agent affirming his commitment to stay at the club. Salah had inked a new contract at Anfield last summer, earning a weekly wage of £350,000, and has another 2 years left to this contract.

Al-Ittihad has a roster featuring 2022 Ballon D'or winner Karim Benzema, Salah's former Liverpool teammate Fabinho, and N'Golo Kante. The intention to secure Salah's signature has been apparent for some time, though Liverpool has firmly stated their unwillingness to part ways with him.

The pursuit persists, particularly due to the extended Saudi transfer window, which remains open for several days after the European window concludes. This situation casts a significant influence on Liverpool's strategic decisions moving forward.

There you have it, folks.
